ARRHYTHMIAS

Abnormal heartbeats, either irregular, too fast or too slow. Cardiac arrhythmia occurs when the heart's electrical impulses do not work properly. Es posible que no se presenten síntomas. There may be no symptoms. When symptoms do occur, they may include palpitations, chest pain, fainting or dizziness.

HYPERTENSION

A condition in which blood pressure to the artery walls is too high. Hypertension is generally defined as blood pressure above 140/90 and is considered severe when it is above 180/120. In some cases, high blood pressure has no symptoms. If left untreated, it can eventually lead to health disorders such as heart disease and stroke.

HEART FAILURE

A chronic condition that causes the heart to not pump blood efficiently enough. Heart failure can occur when the heart does not pump (systole) or fill (diastole) properly. Symptoms include shortness of breath, fatigue, swelling in the legs, and rapid heart rate.

ANGINA

A type of chest pain caused by a decrease in blood supply to the heart. Angina is a symptom of coronary artery disease. Angina is felt as a tightness, pressure, heaviness, or pain in the chest. It may be sudden or recurrent.

BRADYCARDIA

Is a heart rate that’s too slow. What’s considered too slow can depend on your age and physical condition. Elderly people are more prone to bradycardia.

HYPERTENSIVE HEART DISEASE

Alterations that occur at the level of the heart because of having high blood pressure levels, when blood pressure rises in a timely manner, as a secondary response to physical or psychological stress, it is not capable of producing the damage to which we refer when we speak of hypertensive heart disease.
